Coming
from the East
If you're on IH35, the exit for FM 1626 is the same exit as Onion Creek Subdivision
and Golf Course. You'll wind Westward through a couple of small villages and
then turn due West (right) at the intersection of 1626 and 967. At 5.8 miles
down the road, you'll see a gate on the South (left) side of the road; that's
us. Or you can take the Buda exit and take the loop into "downtown"
Buda, then turn west on 967. When you hit the 4-way stop at 1626, keep going
straight for 5.8 miles and we are on the left.
Coming from the West
You'll get on FM 1826, either from west (Hiway 150), Nutty Brown, TX 45 (Loop
1, or Mo-Pac) or 290 West, from the North. If you take Loop 1 from Austin all
the way to its south end, it becomes TX 45 and then T's into 1826. Turn left
on 1826 and go 8.5 miles then left on 967. If you are on 290 then turn south
onto 1826 (also called Camp Ben McCullough Rd) a mile or so west of the Y at
Oak Hill, and go about 12 miles until you hit 967 and then turn left. If you
come in on 150 (like from Dripping Springs) from then turn east on 1826 and
go about 1 mile or so, just past the Salt Lick, and turn right on 967. You head
Eastward on FM 967 towards Buda. At 3.3 miles down the road, you'll see the
gate on the South (right) side of the road.
Mind the Critters!
We keep the gate closed 'cause of cattle but it'll be unlocked after 'bout 7:30
am. There's also a sign with a cowboy on it, just inside the gate.
